Meet Your Instructors

Adelaide Meadow and Mandy Verghese bring a rare depth of experience and embodiment to their teaching — rooted in reverence for the female body and decades of hands-on work in the field of well-woman care.

Adelaide is a female physiology academic, movement teacher, bodyworker, and homebirth attendant. For more than a decade, she has studied and taught at the intersection of women's health, biomechanics, and physiological birth. Her work is rooted in the belief that physiological birth depends on physiological womanhood — and that the genius of the body is most powerful when it is trusted. She is a sought-after teacher, leader, and speaker on women’s health and women's culture.

Mandy is a mother, midwife, Womb Continuum Care provider, and folk herbalist. She has supported hundreds of women through every phase of the childbearing continuum over the past 15 years, from remote unassisted births to busy international hospitals. Her work is grounded in a deep belief in the body’s capacity to change — and in practices that support that change through physiologically informed movement, hands-on care, and midwifery wisdom.

Together, Adelaide and Mandy share a deep devotion to restoring reverence for the female body. Their work blends science and tradition, structure and lived experience — in service of women’s well-being, and the future of women’s care.
